A couple of weeks ago I posted a completely unscientific poll with many +/- margins for error here on this blog. I was curious to see which e-reader people bought most often. The results: 75% Kindle, 25% Nook, and 1% iPad. Yes, these numbers are a little goofy since you can see that somehow the poll created a total of 101%. Still, I thought it was interesting. Did Amazon do a better job of marketing the Kindle? Not that I know of. From the outset, I saw far more advertising about the Nook than Kindle.
